The James A. Redding Company has designed and built over 300 two-stage sampling systems worldwide. We design and build each system to meet the specific needs of our clients.
A two-stage sampling system is the right choice if your entire primary sample can be crushed economically to the desired particle size, the volume of the coal can be tolerated, and if sufficient after-crushing increments can be taken to obtain a reasonable quantity of final sample.
How it works:
The Nine-Iron primary swing sampler extracts a sample increment from the customer's moving belt. The sample increment is then metered and conveyed to the sample crusher where it is reduced to the desired particle size. The SWS secondary swing sampler or DTS traveling hopper secondary sampler will then extract a final sample increment. The final extracted sample is deposited into a single container or a pre-selected one on a multi-position sample collector. The sample rejects can be handled in a variety of ways.
At James A. Redding, we can build you a complete system, or simply provide the components you may need. Rely on our professional and experienced staff to help you determine what system best suits your needs.
